Patricia Marin is an associate researcher and lecturer in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education and associate director of the University of California Educational Evaluation Center (UCEC) at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She studies issues of inclusion and equity in higher education for underrepresented students. In particular, her work examines issues of diversity, affirmative action, and college access. Prior to joining the Department of Education at UCSB, she worked for The Civil Rights Project (CRP) at Harvard University and the American Council on Education in Washington, DC.
