Food Marketing and the Diets of Children and Youth

Source: Institute of Medicine of the National Academies The Institute of Medicine, through the Food and Nutrition Board and the Board on Children, Youth, and Families, will undertake a comprehensive study of the science-based effects of food marketing on the diets and health of children and youth in the United States. This work is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in response to a Congressional directive.
