Promoting the Success of Latino Language-Minority Students: An Exploratory Study of Six High Schools

In this article the authors examine the education of Latino students in secondary schools. They extend existing research on effective schooling, which generally focused on urban elementary schools in low-income neighborhoods. They offer suggestions and a sense of possibility to educators seeking an effective response to high school language minority students.
