Larry Lee

Larry Lee, a graduate of Auburn University, is the former Executive Director of the Southeast Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission. He frequently writes about rural issues for state newspapers and is an advocate for Alabama’s public schools, their teachers, and administrators. He ran the Center for Rural Alabama at the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries, and is the author of Lessons Learned from Rural Schools and co-author of Beyond the Interstate, the Crisis in Rural Alabama and Crossroads and Connections, Strategies for Rural Alabama.
