IL: Moment of silence case to become class action

Judge OKs expanding suit against state moment-of-silence law

A federal district court judge approved the expansion of a suit challenging Illinois' moment-of-silence law to include districts and students from across the state.  The ruling also opens up the possibility of a state-wide expansion of the injunction against enforcing the law, which is currently limited to the school district against which the suit was filed.
