MA: Rising transit costs squeeze program

Metco, a program that provide suburban schooling for inner-city students, is facing rapidly rising transportation costs. Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has proposed increases in funding for the program to offset the impact of rising fuel prices on other aspects of the program.
