Denver Public Schools is using individual student growth to track test score improvement through its new  School Performance Framework. The district claims that this gives a more accurate picture of learning than the state's traditional School Accountability Report, which currently rates schools based on the percent of students who score proficient and advanced, but is being redesigned.  Under the new system, 78 of 107 district schools met growth standards.
