DPS receives 19 new school proposals

Althought the deadline for proposals for new schools is May 19, Denver Public School District has already received 19 proposals for charter or innovation schools, ranging from a school designed by a Baptist church to a medical focus high school to an online school. Decisions will be made in July for schools to open in the 2009-2010 school year.
