Duke University
Casey Mock is an adjunct lecturer in Applied Ethics and Tech Policy at Duke University. He is also an attorney and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who has served governors of both parties: as a state senate-confirmed appointee of Governor Phil Scott to lead the Vermont Economic Progress Council, and as a director of budget policy and analysis during Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s administration. Casey also spent nearly four years on the public policy team at Amazon and led nationwide state and local tax policy for the company. At his site Tomorrow's Mess, he unpacks the ideologies driving Silicon Valley's most powerful figures and examines who pays the price when "disruption" becomes a virtue.
