The Senate overwhelmingly passed Senate Bill 212 to eliminate the Colorado State Assessment Program (CSAP) exam in high school. Although the bill does not specify a replacement exam, it is likely that pre-ACT tests would be used in 9th and 10th grades, leading to the traditional 11th grade ACT in order to measure high school progress. The bill now goes to the House for consideration.
