Montgomery students protest cuts to magnets

Students from the math and computer science at Montgomery Blair High School picketed outside the Montgomery County school system's headquarters to protest cuts being made to magnet programs.  The district, like many in Maryland facing budget cuts, has made cuts across  many programs.  Students at the highly successful magnet program argued that the district is withdrawing support of the program and that the cuts will spark a decline in the program.
