Border schools get tough on Mexican students
Christian Science Monitor May 23, 2008
Some schools on the US-Mexico border are ramping up enforcement of provisions that require students to prove residency to receive a free education. Others are requiring parents to meet stringent proof-of-residency requirements. Enforcement has increased as parents are concerned about overcrowding resulting from Mexican students crossing the border to attend school.
