The rise of class-based integration

This article examines the shift from race-based integration to class-based integration that is occuring in response to last's year's Supreme Court decision in Parents Involved in Community Schools v. Seattle School District No. 1. The article focuses on Louisville, Kentucky's response to the ruling and how considering class in school assignments is helping the district accomplish its goals.
