DPS, teachers union dispute: Two teachers, two perspectives  Rocky Mountain News  August 20, 2008

The continuing dispute over proposed changes in the Denver Public Schools merit pay system and the Denver Classroom Teachers Association will meet with an arbiter on Friday and Saturday, with teachers voting on the negotiated terms on Sunday. As the current contract expires on August 31st, there is some concern about a teacher strike if an agreement is not reached by Labor Day.
