NC: Teachers may have to undergo random drug testing

Random drug, alcohol testing of teachers debated

Teachers in a small rural town in North Carolina are waiting to hear if they'll be required to submit to random tests for drugs and alcohol.  Some view the possible testing as a waste of money and pull teachers from the classroom when they are under pressure to boost test scores, while others say that anyone in charge of children lose their rights.
