CO: Stimulus dollars offset budget cuts

Title I gives DPS $4.5 million lift

The Denver Public Schools will be able to retain up to 80 teachers thanks to additional Title I funds provided by the federal stimulus package. Federal funds will be used to support Title I, special education and educational technology programs.
