New National Report Grades States on School Funding

NEPC fellow Bruce Baker co-authored a study titled "Is School Funding Fair? A National Report Card," which ranks the 50 states on four different measures: funding level, funding distribution, state fiscal effort, and public school coverage. Colorado did not perform well on these measures, receiving an "F" in school funding and a "D" in distribution of education dollars.
