Waiting for Superman "Snubbed" by Academy Awards

The nominations were released this morning and many were surprised that Waiting for Superman did not receive an Oscar nod for Best Documentary (see Washington Post column here). A new NEPC review by Elizabeth Dutro argues that Waiting for Superman "offers solutions that are simplified, ignore research evidence, and are built on false assumptions."
