FL: District sued over low graduation rate

Low graduation rate draws Florida lawsuit

The ACLU is suing the School District of Palm Beach County in Florida saying that its graduation rate, and the gaps between graduation rates of different racial groups, violates the state constitution's mandate to provide a "uniform, efficient, safe, secure and high-quality education."  The suit also asks the judge to clarify how graduation rates should be calculated for school districts.
