State legislators debated Senate Bill 212 on Thursday, which seeks to align K-12 and higher education. As part of this goal, the state is considering a change in its current state assessments (CSAP) to align with the ACT college admissions test. Some argued that the ACT is a "shallower" test, and that a change in Colorado standards should come before a change in state assessments.
