UC Denver garners major grant

The University of Colorado Denver received a five-year, $76 million grant from the National Institutes of Health for biomedical research and training. The newly created "Colorado Clinical and Translational Science Institute" will be comprised of research scientists, health care providers, hospital representatives, health care school representatives, and community health organizations. The institute hopes to turn research into discoveries that lead to treatment, prevention, and education.
