MI: $100 rent subsidy helps lower student turnover

To address the problems that come from students frequently switching schools, the Michigan Department of Human Services teamed up with two schools in Flint, Michigan to provide $100 rent subsidies to keep families from moving during the second and third grades. The program has resulted in reduced turnover and higher test scores among participants.
