CO: Gender learning differences lead to classroom breaks
Brain breaks for students called smart idea

In 2008, boys consistently scored lower on CSAP reading tests than their female counterparts. To address this gap, teachers were trained by the Gurian Institute in strategies to help improve boys achievement in reading and writing. Their new strategies allow children to get up and move around every 20 minutes for a "brain break."
