School attendance law 'gone awry'

Stephen Knolls School, a special ed center with medically fragile students, was able to make the grade for reading and math per No Child Left Behind standards, only to be marked a failure for poor attendance.  This issue highlights how the politics of the NCLB law mishandles students with disabilities.
