FL: State law requires gym class
Florida fights childhood obesity with new gym rule

A state law which came into effect earlier in the semester requires that children in kindergarten through 5th grade participate in 30 minutes of continuous physical activity every day. This is in an effort to address the growing issue of childhood obesity.
