Expansion of education plan urged
The Rocky Mountain News December 6, 2008
A panel of community leaders made 21 recommendations to Governor Ritter this week. The P-20 council (pre-school to higher education) recommended that the state develop a universal and more consistent program to allow high school students to enroll in college courses. The recommendations also included incentives for schools to graduate students at risk of dropping out, and including career and future plans as part of the school accedidation process.
