CO: Superintendent process proceeds with little community input

Hispanics upset over process of selecting new DPS chief

The Denver Board of Education  named Tom Boasberg the sole finalist to replace Michael Bennet as Superintendent of the Denver Public Schools. Activists formed the Colorado Latino Forum this week to protest recent political appointments that have been made without consultation or consideration of the Hispanic community. Community members are frustrated by the lack of community involvement and transparency in the selection process.
