CO: Teacher salaries and 'base' budgets targeted in budget cuts

DPS could face "very bad" cuts

Denver Public School's Superintendent Tom Boasberg announced a 2% cut in schools' base budgets for next year. Despite union negotiations completed last year regarding cost of living increases, Boasberg announced that teacher salaries may be cut and hiring freezes announced.
