Boulder Daily Camera  March 27, 2009

The US Department of Education's Denver Office of Civil Rights negotiated an agreement between complainants at Columbine Elementary School and the Boulder Valley School District around allegations of racial bias and language discrimination. The agreement includes eleven paramaters that will guide the visioning process for the future of the elementary school and may lead to a partnership between Columbine Elementary and the University of Colorado related to mathematic instruction and assessment for second-language learners. Terms of the agreement are also available from the Boulder Daily Camera.
