CO: In-state tuition for immigrants discussed

Various stakeholders testified for and against a bill that provides undocumented students in-state tuition if they attended high school for at least three years in Colorado and graduate with a Colorado high school diploma.  Amendments were made to the legislation that require students to sign an affidavit that they are seeking legal residency and prohibit undocumented students from receiving certain scholarships.  The bill will advance to the Senate after the Education Committee approved it.
