CO: Education committee refines school finance
School finance bill changes OK'd

The House Education Committee approved amendments the school finance act, a bill that no longer is remarkably reform-oriented as legislators trim "at-risk" student funding and charter school considerations amidst a state budget shortfall. The committee also voted in approval of another bill that will encourage parent involvement on various accountability committees.
