CO: Districts use newcomer programs to serve non-English speakers

Teachers challenged in multilingual classrooms

The Denver Post  October 27,2008

School districts in the Denver-metro area serve students with over 125 different native languages. After one year, their English language-learning students are required to take the Colorado State Assesment Program (CSAP) test.
