Ethics in Educational Research

Publisher: Review of Research in Education, 24
Page Numbers: 21-60

The ethics of social and educational research has been significantly complicated over the last several decades as a consequence of the "interpretative turn" and the ever-increasing use of qualitative research methods that have accompanied it. This chapter identifies what came before and after the interpretative turn with the traditional and contemporary approaches to research ethics, respectively.
