Video: Confronting Racist Comments
I want to share an interesting three-minute video that I stumbled upon recently on YouTube. It is about how to confront racist comments when you hear them. The video’s music and editing style make for both a fun and informative experience. The producer of the video, ill doctrine, makes the case that there are better and worse ways to deal with people who “sound racist.” If more teachers and students would utilize these easy to use methods, then the racism in our society that hurts students of color could be somewhat ameliorated.
